5 top questions about non laser tattoo removal
At our clinics, we believe in second chances and fresh starts. Whether you want to remove permanent makeup, a microblading mishap, or an unwanted tattoo, we’ve covered you.
We offer professional, free consultations & high-quality service for non-laser tattoo removal. We’re experts in tattoo removal and you can trust our team to take care of you every step of the way.
How does non-laser tattoo removal work?
We apply a local anesthetic before and during the procedure, similarly using the tattoo machine as when the tattoo was received. Once the area has been exposed, we apply the Ink Eraser for a few minutes. The area is then wiped clean and bandaged. You will be furnished with written After Care Instructions to ensure the treatment’s effectiveness and your full recovery.
Unlike harsh laser treatments, non-laser tattoo removal is non-invasive and gentle on the skin, meaning the risk of scarring is significantly reduced.
Our treatment is effective on body tattoos, permanent makeup, and even microblading. It works by penetrating the skin layers and liquefying the ink. A staccato motion is applied to the skin to help draw the pigment up and out, thus eliminating the need for invasive mechanical procedures.
Following treatment, the skin will form scabs, and the pigment from the tattoo will become lighter as ink is expelled from the body during the healing process.
What equipment is used?
We use the same tools for tattoo removal and applying tattoos and micro-pigmentation. The method of application is also very similar.
How quick are the results?
There are a variety of tattooing methods used by tattoo artists all over the world. The type of ink used and other factors will determine how long it takes to see results. Because of this, we offer FREE consultations.
In general our treatment could reduce treatments from 50 to 75 percent compared to other methods, including LASER. There may be some lightening of the ink after just one treatment.
Length of treatment will vary depending on the size of the area being treated. However, a typical session usually lasts 1 hour.
Is the procedure painful?
Everyone’s tolerance for pain varies, but with Tattoo Vanish, we will consider your safety and your comfort with every procedure. That is why we will use a topical anesthetic before and during treatment, so you can experience little to no discomfort.
A local anesthetic is applied to the removal site before treatment begins and can be reapplied if you experience any discomfort. Non-laser tattoo removal treatments are the least painful method of tattoo removals available.
How many treatments are needed?
There are a number of factors that will dictate this, including your health, the depth of the ink, which type of ink was used and the size of the tattoo. Smaller tattoos may require only one to three treatments. Tattoo Vanish will lighten or remove any color, unlike LASER, which can only remove certain colors successfully.
Usually, a minimum of 2-6 sessions is required for optimal results. The size, location, and depth of the tattoo will influence how many sessions you will need. Following treatment, your tattoo will be lighter and could potentially fade completely with time.
Is this treatment safe?
Yes! Our treatment is one of the best and safest non-laser tattoo removal treatments available.
If you are pregnant, nursing, or have any other health condition, please consult your healthcare provider before booking a consultation.
What will my skin look like after treatment?
Directly after treatment, your skin will feel tender and experience some redness and swelling. This will gradually fade away within a few days.
Your skin will also form scabs that contain visible pigment. This is normal and a critical part of the healing process. Allow the scabs to fall off naturally for best results.
Are appointments necessary?
Yes, but the consultation is FREE. Appointments are necessary so that the technician can thoroughly explain the process and gather necessary client history. Appointments also help us give a more accurate procedure quote. The procedure may be performed the same day as the consultation if all expectations have been met.
